Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Seedr account and associated data at any time. This page describes the process, what gets deleted, and what to expect.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to Request Account Deletion

Send an email to support@seedr.cc from the email address associated with your Seedr account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Sending the request from your account email allows us to verify ownership and prevents unauthorized deletion. If you no longer have access to that email address, include sufficient information for us to verify your identity (e.g. last payment reference, account creation approximate date).

Submitting a deletion request automatically cancels any active subscription, effective at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that time, after which the account is deleted.

What Gets Deleted

1. Your account profile and login credentials;
2. All files stored in your personal cloud;
3. Active subscriptions and stored payment information;
4. Account activity history and personal preferences.

What May Be Retained

Some data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate operational reasons, including:

1. Transaction and invoice records, retained for tax and accounting compliance (typically 6–7 years under applicable law);
2. Records related to fraud, abuse, or legal investigations;
3. Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.

Timeframe

We will confirm receipt of your request within a few business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. In rare cases involving complex requests this may extend to a maximum of 90 days, in which case we will notify you of the delay.

You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Partial Deletion

If you wish to delete specific files or data without removing your entire account, contact support@seedr.cc describing what should be removed. Files can also be deleted directly from your account at any time.
