If a fetch is sitting at the same percentage and not moving, it is almost always one of a few causes. Work through these in order and most stuck transfers sort themselves out.

1. Not enough peers

Peer-to-peer content needs active peers (seeders) to fetch from. If a torrent has few or no seeders, there is simply nothing to download. Check the source - a well-seeded version of the same content will fetch quickly. Seedr cannot speed up a swarm that has gone quiet.

2. Out of storage

A fetch pauses if completing it would exceed your storage limit. Open your file manager, check your usage, and delete files you no longer need - or upgrade your plan for more space. The fetch resumes once there is room.

3. A slow or stalling source

Some swarms move in bursts: fast at first, then slow as the rarest pieces become hard to find. Give it a little time. If it has been stuck for a long while with no progress, the remaining pieces may be unavailable.

How to restart a stuck fetch

1. Remove the stuck item from your transfers list.

2. Confirm you have free storage and a healthy, well-seeded source link.

3. Add the link again. A fresh fetch often connects to peers the previous attempt missed.
