4K video playback in Seedr V2

Seedr lists 4K playback on its Master plan, subject to the source, device and connection. Open a completed 4K file and test the actual playback route. Do not assume original-bitrate output, HDR or a particular conversion path from the 4K label alone.
Check source, plan and device
4K describes picture dimensions, not a universal bitrate or HDR format. A lower-resolution source does not gain detail just because the player or display supports 4K. The current Seedr plan table lists 4K for Master; do not treat every paid plan as a 4K plan.
Test playback
Import a supported 4K source and wait for the cloud transfer to finish.
Open the file on the actual playback device.
Check the available quality controls, audio, subtitles and seeking.
If playback stalls, test a lower available quality and a more stable connection.
Casting and external players
Use a supported casting route or a compatible player connection included in your plan. The device still has to receive and decode the delivered stream. A cloud service does not remove receiver limits, Wi-Fi problems or HDR compatibility requirements.
Streaming is not an export guarantee
A playable stream and a converted output file are different results. Preserve the original and check the actual output when exporting. Do not assume original-bitrate delivery, lossless audio or every source track from a 4K label.
Test the full route
Finish importing the video and play a short section in the browser first.
Check the TV or receiver route supported by your devices. Try audio and subtitles before settling in.
For AirPlay troubleshooting, check device updates and connectivity. Guest-network isolation can prevent discovery.
Frequently asked questions
Does every paid Seedr plan include 4K?
No. The current published plan table lists 4K for Master. Check the plan and quality available in your own account.
Will a 4K label guarantee HDR and original-bitrate audio?
No. Resolution, HDR, bitrate and audio format are separate properties. Test the actual source and playback route.
