Queue media before a long trip by fetching it to your cloud, saving the files you need locally and testing playback in airplane mode. A finished cloud transfer is only the first step: offline playback needs a completed copy on the device you will carry.

## Prepare the cloud files

1. Choose the material you are entitled to use.
2. Add supported links or upload your files before leaving.
3. Wait for completion and check playback while online.
4. Check free space on the actual travel device.

## Make the local copy

The published offline guide describes V2 Premium access with a gradual rollout. If the offline controls are available in your account, save the selected files and wait for completion. Otherwise download a compatible file and use an appropriate local player. Cloud files alone cannot be played without a connection.

## Test the trip setup

Enable airplane mode and open the saved material. Check subtitles, the chosen audio track and seeking. A successful online preview does not prove every track was saved locally. Keep only what fits comfortably on the device and leave space for other travel needs.

## After the trip

Remove local copies you no longer need using controls whose effect you understand. Confirm the cloud original remains before removing any other backup. Reconnect before fetching new material; unreliable hotel Wi-Fi still affects streaming and new downloads.

## Test before leaving

- Allow enough local space and finish downloading while you have a reliable connection.
- Use the offline controls available in your account, or download a compatible file to a player you trust.
- Switch to airplane mode and test picture, sound and subtitles before the trip. Cloud storage alone is not offline access.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I stream from the cloud in airplane mode?

No. The file must already be available locally. Test the exact device with connectivity turned off.

### Will an offline copy save phone storage?

No. It uses local storage. Remove only the local copy when you are finished, after checking what the control will delete.
