Stream Seedr files in Infuse by adding the account endpoint using a protocol included in your Seedr plan. Test one file before indexing a library. Infuse is the player; Seedr supplies storage, and the connection still needs working credentials and internet access.

## What you need

- A Seedr account — WebDAV requires a Master plan, FTP works on Pro and Basic plans too
- Infuse installed on your Apple device
- Your Seedr email and password, or a dedicated WebDAV/FTP password if you have set one up in Seedr settings

## How to connect

Open Infuse and go to Settings → Add Files → Add Saved Share. Scroll to the Other section and fill in the following:

**If you are on a Master plan — use WebDAV:**

- Protocol: WebDAV (HTTPS)
- Address: https://dav.seedr.cc:443
- Username: your Seedr email
- Password: your Seedr password

**If you are on Pro or Basic — use FTP:**

- Protocol: FTP (Implicit/FTPS)
- Address: ftps.seedr.cc
- Username: your Seedr email
- Password: your Seedr password

Hit Save. Infuse authenticates in a few seconds and your Seedr storage appears as a connected share.

## Tips and edge cases

**Subtitles.** Infuse picks up SRT files automatically if they are in the same folder as the video and named to match. Seedr's folder structure carries over, so keep subtitles alongside their files.

**Multiple devices.** The connection is tied to your Infuse account. Once set up on one device it syncs across your Apple devices via iCloud.

**Dedicated password.** If you have generated a separate FTP/WebDAV password in Seedr settings, use that instead of your main account password.

**Storage limits.** Free and lower tier Seedr plans have storage caps. If your library is large, check your available space before indexing everything into Infuse.

**Format support.** Infuse handles MKV, MP4, AVI, MOV, and most other formats natively. Seedr stores whatever you fetch — the two together cover virtually any file you throw at them.

## Why this instead of a NAS

For anyone who wants the Infuse experience without the hardware, this is the practical path.

## Choose copy or mount deliberately

- Use the endpoint and credentials shown in your own Seedr account; do not copy an example password.
- Confirm your plan includes the protocol. FTP, SFTP and WebDAV are different connections.
- A mount still transfers data and may cache locally. Test a small file, permissions and reconnection before adding a library.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does a network mount remove the need for internet?

No. Reading uncached cloud data requires a connection. Some clients also keep local cache files.

### Does Seedr run my media server?

No. Plex and Jellyfin still need their own running server. Seedr can supply files to a compatible mounted or copied library.
