Private-network transfers need a plan with the relevant support and compliance with the source site's own rules. Verify the current Seedr controls and plan limits before relying on ratios, pausing or file selection; an old upgrade announcement is not proof those controls are available.

## Check support before adding a source

Current Seedr pricing lists private-network support on eligible plans. That is not permission to ignore the source site's rules, nor a guarantee that every network works. Check your account and the current help before relying on a particular workflow.

## Use a small, permitted test

1. Confirm your plan and the source site's requirements.
2. Use a source you are authorized to access.
3. Check task status and the completed file.
4. If the source rejects the request, keep its error and ask support about that specific site.

## Do not assume old controls still exist

The original draft described live ratio counters, pause/resume, file selection and new engine behavior. Those controls have not been verified in the current product. The current public help explicitly says an incoming package must be imported in full. Do not promise selective fetching or unused-quota savings.

## Keep source rules separate

Plan-level support does not establish a particular ratio result or indefinite transfer time. Check current limits in the account and pricing information. A historical upgrade or roadmap is not evidence of what a private source accepts today.

## Separate the two transfers

- Use a supported source link you are authorized to access. A page requiring your browser login may not be fetchable from its URL alone.
- Wait for the task to finish and check the file in your cloud folder.
- Viewing or saving it to your device still uses your connection. Keep enough cloud space for the complete import.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I close the browser during a cloud fetch?

Yes. Seedr handles the remote transfer. Your device needs a connection again when you check, view or download the result.

### Will a cloud fetch make my slow Wi-Fi faster?

No. It separates the source transfer from your device connection. Watching and downloading still depend on local bandwidth.
